RCS for ISBN web service utilizes an image recognition server equipped with our proprietary barcode/OCR engine, RealCodeScan.

(Before membership registration) You can use this service. Book information is saved in the device’s cache. Once the cache is cleared, the book information will be lost.

(After membership registration) You can use this service. Book information is stored on the server on a per-member basis. Even if the cache is cleared, the book information will remain. As long as the same member logs in on any device, that member can access the same book information.

This system refers to bibliographic information from Google Books using ISBN codes. Please note that even with a correct ISBN code, bibliographic information may not be available.
