Basic Specifications

This system provides a web-based system for managing expiration and best-by dates, along with terminal applications for registering expiration information. The terminal applications are compatible with smartphones like iPhones and business-use Android devices, enabling utilization on existing terminals in stores and warehouses. Leveraging our barcode and OCR reader library, the system reads product codes and expiration date strings using the terminal’s camera and registers them on the server. It synchronizes product master information and can also receive requests for investigating products nearing expiration. It supports both the oldest-first expiration management method and the all-items expiration management method. Meanwhile, the information system centrally manages registration data for anywhere from a few to hundreds of stores, enabling viewing and output. It also automatically generates expiration notices and warnings, distributing them to store terminals. When you send product master data files from your core system to our system in any format via SCP, sFTP, or similar methods, the system periodically references and applies the information.
